Hiiii. I’m back with a bunch of what I wore’s and I gotta be honest, I’m getting on so good at remembering to snap my photo before I leave now. Now I don’t remember the exact days that I wore these things and I don’t feel like going back to the time stamps on my phone, so I’ll just tell you where I wore them to! I do remember what I did, just not when it happened. So these are in no particular order at all. I’m giving those type A’s a run for their money on this one.

Thanksgiving Lunch
Quince Mongolian Cashmere Sweater | Quince Silk Pants | Similar Flats
For our first Thanksgiving out of two, we went to a nice restaurant with just my parents. (Our entire family’s thanksgiving was on Saturday!) I wanted to look nice but wanted to be comfortable and this outfit was the perfect choice. If I haven’t influenced you to buy these silk pants, do it. They’re perfect for holiday. Especially with a sweater! You look chic, feel like you’re in pajamas.
My purse didn’t really go but it’s too late to change it now!

My sweet little family.

Thanksgiving day, after lunch
Quince Sweatshirt | Quince Wide Leg Pants | Rothy’s Clog
Why in the world would I stay in fancy clothes for the rest of the day? Also we went and saw Wicked 2 and it was fantastic. We always go to Alamo Drafthouse for movies and I’ve got to be honest — plain movies are ruined for me. If I don’t have a heated seat that can lounge all the way back while someone brings me wine and chips and queso? I don’t want it. This outfit was perfect for this setting.

Second Thanksgiving
Amazon Sweater | Lululemon Leggings | Rothy’s Clogs
Yes I went super casual to our second family thanksgiving. It’s a casual event and I love that. We sit and eat and play games and I have no business to be doing that in jeans. Leggings are made for this. Also I love this sweater so much! I’m in the large, but it runs big. Size down for a closer fit. It’s super affordable too!

Shopping / Errands
Quince Sweater | Zara Pants | Zara Flats
I ran some errands, did some quick shopping in this fit. Yes this is the same Quince sweater as above! It’s one of my favorites that I own. It is a little over $100, but it’s very good quality. Super thick and soft. I’m in the large. I go up to a large in all of their cashmere as I don’t like a tight fit.

Harry Potter Exhibit / Lunch with friends
J.Crew Jacket | Gap Tee | Gap Barrel Jeans | Mesh Flats
During the Thanksgiving break, we took G and some friends to the Harry Potter Exhibit in Dallas! It was fun — I didn’t know what to expect but it was a big warehouse they turned into an interactive museum for HP. If your kid likes HP and you need to burn some time, it’s a fun afternoon. Then we ended up getting a late lunch with our friends and a new place and overall it was just the best day.
These jeans are so tight I did regret wearing them for an all day thing. (I’ve gained weight so they are VERY fitted in the waist. I was so relieved when I got home and popped that button open.) But other than that it was an easy outfit to wear all day! I’m in the 30 of the jeans, I love the fit, but they do run snug at the waist. Find them here.
My jacket is on sale too!

From the exhibit! So fun. (yes that’s a Labubu in a Slytherin scarf lololol)

WFH | coffee with friend
Zara Sweater | Amazon Trousers | Sam Edelman Flats
My friends — I was wrong about this sweater. I’m in the large. I thought I bought the medium but alas I”m in the large and that’s probably why it’s so damn big. Bryan put it on and he could wear it and it was still big. I think it’s almost sold out anyways, but if you were going to purchase it — size down. Don’t size UP in an already oversized sweater.
These really are the best Aritizia effortless pants dupes I’ve found. Now, I don’t own the Aritizia pants so can I honestly say they are just like them? No. But I do really like this pair of trousers, and they look identical to the Aritiza ones. I like these more than any J.Crew / Madewell one’s I’ve owned! And that’s saying something because I’ve owned a lot of them. I’m in the large, they’re a touch generous but I like that in a pant.

Work from home
Quince Fisherman Sweater | gap pants | sam Edelman flats
I’ve been trying most days to get all the way ready when I work from home. I notice that I feel more productive and honestly it changes my mindset. Like if I just stay in my school drop off slop all day, I start to feel weird and gross. So I’ve been making it a point this year to actually get ready and get dressed, even if I’m the only person I see all day. Now does this mean that I’m wearing the most out of this world outfit? No. Like these jeans are hella soft and comfy, so it’s still easy to sit and work on my computer. But it does feel good to feel ready for the day.
Also this is another one of my favorites from Quince. It’s the Fisherman cotton sweater and I love it. I’m in the large and I find it shrinks up a bit after one wash (laid flat to dry.) Just the nature of the cotton. Find it under $50 here!

Date night
J.Crew Sweater | Madewell mini skirt | suede boots (Similar)
J.Crew gifted me this sweater and I’ve worn it 3x since I opened it last week. It’s a favorite. It’s SO slouchy. I didn’t think the medium was going to slouch but boy does it. Plus the dark brown with the speckles is just so pretty. I’m in the medium, TTS WITH slouch!
My skirt is last year madewell that I just almost listed in my resale until I realized it fit and I wanted a brown skirt. My closet amnesia is wild. I literally forget what I have until I go look in my closet. I’ve found a very similar one though here!
We went to the cutest wine bar!

Dinner with a friend
Old Navy Cardigan | Similar from Sezane | Reformation Pants | Suede flats
I usually dress pretty quality but every once in a wild I’ll dress loud. This is that moment. I paired my fave ON cardigan with these reformation pants. I saw they brought them back in snakeskin and I just almost went for another pair during their Black Friday sale. But then I was like do you really need two pairs of satin animal print pants? … Jury is still out. I might.
I’m in the large of the pants, medium of the cardigan!

WFH, walking
Everlane Quarter Zip | Varley Pants | Phone case with chain
I wore this to go on my walk that I’ve been trying to implement daily. But between my wide leg sweatpants with my quarter zip pullover and big chunky earrings with my phone draped across my body with a gold chain...I felt all of my 41 years old. I looked in the mirror and thought I’m a real modern-day Golden Girl. And 10/10 will wear again.

WFH, school event
Quince structured cardigan | Madewell Jeans | Sam Edelman Flats
I, once again, forgot I had this cardigan! It was kind of tucked behind another white sweater and when I pulled it out, I was so pleased! It runs a bit small across the chest, so go up a size if this is an issue for you. This is the medium here.
Also I love love love these jeans. I am in the 30, but they run big. Could do a 29, if I feel like returning them. We will see. Very stretchy and very flattering!
