It’s January 7th and I’ve got denim on. I’d say that’s a win and a full 180 from most of my January starts. The fact that I reached for denim and not leggings…willingly..is a testament to my mental health. Is… therapy effective? Am I mentally well? Let’s not go that far but I am 7 days into the new year and my leggings have been marked safe.
This sweater needs more accolades I’ve decided. It’s the famous $50 cashmere from Quince and it really is a nice sweater. It’s not quite as thick as the Mongolian cashmere sweater but very similar feel. The fit is slightly relaxed but I go up to a large for a looser fit. Tight sweaters are my nightmare. And there are so many colors you can choose from. Or you can be chic (boring?) like me and go with black.
Have I influenced you to buy Gap denim yet? I’m not kidding when I tell you they’re up there with my Madewell jeans. Really nice fit, nice weight and fabric. These have a hint of stretch which I will gladly take. I am in the 30, as I am in all jeans at Gap, so I’d say true to size but with the caveat that the waist is smaller. I do find Gap jeans to be smaller at the waist across the board. You can find this pair here!
Did you know that I’m obsessed with anything named Gemma? I mean obviously my daughter, yes, but I love when a product is named Gemma. These earrings are the Gemma earring and they were a gift from B this Christmas. I love them. Probably pricier than I would have spent on myself, but as a gift? Don’t mind if I do. Find them here.
