Hello friends! I’ve got a round up from the last week or so, along with where I *think* I wore everything to. We’ve had a swing in the weather lately, one day it’s rainy and cool the next I’m regretting wearing a sweater because it’s back into the 90s. A bit of a fake out with fall last week, so I decided to compromise with my summer wardrobe and my fall pieces. A few shorts are still hanging around but sweaters are slowly making their way back into rotation. Let’s get to the outfits!

Coffee shop | I’m working on something excited lately and I’ve found that getting out of the house and grabbing a coffee helps me stay focused. For some reason the loudness of the coffee shop is easier for me to concentrate in more than the quiet of my house. I put this outfit on and immediately wanted to repeat it. It’s a good one, I felt great and it’s super comfortable. Both pieces are from Quince, I’m in the 10 of the shorts (they run small!) and a medium in the cardigan, it runs big!

Weekday, running errands. | I got this sweatshirt in my nuuly this month and immediately tossed it on. A comfy free people sweatshirt is my kind of fun. Wearing it with some easy peasy shorts and I’m really giving this ankle socks thing a try here. Picked these up from Amazon and didn’t realize they were pink-ish (thought they were beige) until I went back and read the description. You guessed it — it said pink. Imma make them work, just wish they were the oatmeal hue I was envisioning.

Soccer game, big fan edition. | So I’m trying to dress the part as soccer mom and our girls team colors are purple. Do you know what color I don’t have in my wardrobe? That’s right, purple. So I went on a hunt for a few pieces I could wear to the games this fall. It’s hard to tell but this Athleta skirt is purple, matches our team precisely. I found it on ThredUp which I would highly recommend if you like to secondhand shop. I found this skirt, two lululemon skirts and a lululemon top — all in purple! Just passing that along 🙂

WFH | I shared this the other day but this is a typical WFH outfit. I’ve learned if I wear leggings all day I get a bit too comfy and it’s hard for me to focus. Denim is the right amount of uncomfortable you know? These however aren’t uncomfortable one bit because they have a ton of stretch. They’re from Quince. Quality is going to be like a Abercrombie, Gap, etc. I sized up and like this slightly looser size.
PS: this is one of my favorite tops from Madewell for fall! I’m in the medium, it runs big!

Day off with B | Had coffee and lunch with my husband so you know, I wanted to dress cute and this outfit won me over. It’s a repeat of sorts, I tend to wear similar looks with this skirt. But this sweater is from my nuuly as well — I finally hit the jackpot on my nuuly selection this month. It’s from Alex Mill and is high quality if I’ve ever seen. It runs small though, this is the large.

WFH, errands | I tossed this outfit on because I just knew it would work. I love this hat + sweater combo from J.Crew. By the way, J.Crew is having some items 30% off this week. So that’s exciting! This pair of jeans is from my nuuly as well. And I love how they fit. Of course I do, they’re Citizens of Humanity and I’ll be honest — I’ve never tried on a pair of Citizens that didn’t fit me perfectly. I am in the 30 because they’re low rise and they fit me like a glove. Highly recommend. (Also they’re a 2025 low rise, not a 2005 low rise. Lessons were learned in the past two decades.)

Work / Errands | I’m actually wearing this again today! It’s a favorite of mine ever since I got this new sweater from Quince. Highly recommend their sweaters — this is the medium. Fit is oversized and TTS. Love this blue hue too!
I sized up in the boxer shorts, they run snug at the waist for me.

WFH day | This was yesterday actually! Paired this tee (also nuuly) with these jeans and walked right out the door. I’m telling you, I chose WELL this month with nuuly. I’m so excited. I am in the large of the tee, it’s slightly boxy but loose. Find it here.

Doctor’s appt | I’m not sure I like this outfit but I included it all the same. I like each part of the outfit, but the sum is a bit boring. I shall try again next week with this cardigan because I really love the color. I’m in the large (I always go large with Alex Mill.)

Lunch + coffee date | This was one of those grey days I was telling you about so it felt right to dress very fall. I like this outfit in theory but wish the cardigan was just a bit more cropped. I am in the large of the cardigan so it fits more relaxed than expected. Also this dress from Madewell is a 10/10! I’m in the 10…so I guess that makes it a 10/10/10? Size up for hips / waist looseness only.

Date night | It’s giving yeehaw and I don’t mind it one bit. I didn’t mean to dress slightly cowboy themed but here we are. I recently recovered this new blouse from the bottom of my closet. Sometimes things get buried in there, it’s a real crazy phenomenon, I don’t know how it happens. But I recovered it as you can see here, completely forfeited the steam option and tossed it on for a date night. It’s one of my favorite tops from Zara! Find it here.
